Andre Dosogne Bio
Growing up in a small town in Wisconsin, just 40 minutes away from Oshkosh, the aviation mecca of the world, it was impossible not to fall in love with planes from a young age. I have been to EAA Airventure every year since I was born, and my passion for flying developed when I began playing with Microsoft FSX. I was 10 years old at the time, and I spent countless hours navigating and programming flights in the 777 (the coolest airplane ever).
I began flying real airplanes as a sophomore in high school, and trained for my PPL during that time. After soloing, I took about a 3-year break from training. Since then, I've completed all of my ratings and love spreading my passion for aviation while helping new students learn how to fly!
When I'm not flying, I enjoy staying active. Some of my hobbies include running, working out, and hiking around the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my friends and family. I also love music! I play piano, guitar, and drums. If you see me around the Rainier Flight Service, feel free to come and say hi! I’m extremely extroverted and would love to have a conversation with you, aviation related or not. Looking forward to meeting you!
