Like many instructors, I fell in love with aviation at a young age. My mother worked for Mesa Airlines in Yakima Washington, where I was first exposed to the aviation industry. I served five years in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman before attending Central Washington University, where I earned a bachelors of science in Cell and Molecular Biology with a minor in Chemistry. After college, I attended ATP Flight School where I completed my flight training at the Tacoma Narrows airport in Gig Harbor Washington and the Mesa Gateway airport in Mesa Arizona earning my CFI, CFII, and MEI certificates. I am a career pilot and my teaching style is very safety focused with an emphasis on attention to detail, risk management, and instilling good aeronautical decision making skills. I'm passionate about flying and my primary goal is to share that passion with students while providing safe, efficient, and fun flight training.
