Cody Mallet Bio
From a very young age, I have had a fascination with flying. Some of my earliest memories involve watching A-10 Warthogs operate over my house in my home city of Boise, ID.
While my interest in aviation only increased while I was growing up, I never really believed that becoming a pilot myself was an attainable goal.
It wasn't until a family friend took me flying in his J-3 Cub that I realized that flying wasn't just for pilots born with the "Right Stuff", but a skill that is learned through careful practice and determination. Although it has been years since that first flight, I still get much of the same feeling I had that day every time the wheels leave the pavement. My goal as a flight instructor is to help my students develop an appreciation for the wonder of flight, and to watch them grow into safe and proficient pilots.
When not flying you can usually find me skiing, backpacking, fishing and enjoying all the beauty the Pacific Northwest has to offer. I am very excited to continue to see all of the different people and places I encounter throughout my aviation career and I look forward to meeting you soon!
