Aviation must be in my blood. With both my Dad and Grandpa as pilots, (and me being named after the Piper Dakota airplane) meant the “aviation bug” was destined to follow me for the rest of my life. As a kid, I loved going down to Boeing Field and Coulon Park to watch the planes soar above my head. This was something I did whenever I got the chance, and every passing plane I see today still fills me with that same wonder and excitement.
I got my first real taste for flying when I was in my teens. For my 14th birthday, my dad and I went on a discovery flight at Boeing Field. The flight was incredible, and I was instantly hooked. This led me to focus all of my attention on all things flying. A few years later, I started working here at Rainier as a Line Tech, and I eventually took on additional duties in the maintenance hangar, where I helped the mechanics with various jobs. This role helped deepen my all around thirst and knowledge for aviation, and helped me develop additional strengths in my own training.
I have been flying with Rainier for a few years now, and I completed most of my training here. Throughout this time, I have been able to work with, and meet so many great people along the way. The Aviation community is truly amazing and I hope that my students will have the opportunity to have the same great expereiences that I have had.
Now an Instructor at RFS, I look forward to flying with you, and helping you gain the skills and confidence that you need to take to the skies!
