My interest in aviation began during Sunday morning breakfasts with my grandparents at The Airport Diner, now Amelia’s Hangar, at Bremerton National airport. The airplanes hanging from the ceiling, as well as their biscuits and gravy, sure caught my attention at a young age.

In January of 2022, still fascinated by the art and science of flying, I left a 10+ year career as a civil engineer to pursue aviation full-time. I finished the private pilot certificate and completed multi engine, instrument, and commercial training at a rural airstrip outside of Wichita, KS - “Air Capitol of the World,” also home of Pizza Hut, White Castle, and great BBQ. In September of 2022, I started CFI training at Rainier Flight Service, and recently joined the team as a full-time flight instructor.

When I’m not flying, or eating, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, traveling, and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
