Elissa Lardon Bio
For as long as I can remember, I have dreamed of becoming a pilot, but for a long time I imagined that it was reserved for those with military experience and perfect vision. It wasn’t until I read a creatively titled article: “How to Become a Pilot” that I realized a career in aviation was possible for me.
I was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Nutrition. After Graduating, I followed my passion for skiing and the outdoors to Aspen, Colorado. There, I spent four years working as a raft guide in the summer and on the mountain in the winter. If you have every flown into Aspen Airport you will know this; the approach is crazy the airplanes are beautiful and the backdrop is stunning, this ignited my drive for a career in aviation.
I moved to Seattle in 2016 in pursuit of my dream to become a pilot. I took an intro flight in the Spring of 2017 and have not looked back since. This journey has been incredible, and it is only the beginning!
I am so excited to share my passion for aviation, and help others realize “How to Become a Pilot”.
