Instructor Bio

I grew up in the midwest and always loved going to the airshows to see the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds perform but I was always captivated by the Army Blackhawk helicopters. This resulted in me joining ROTC at university and commissioning as a Medical Service Corps Officer, which worked with the MEDEVAC units in the Wisconsin Army National Guard. As any good airline pilot does, my first unit Commander pushed me to pursue aviation and that started my journey in civilian pilot training.

After moving to San Antonio, TX for the Army, I restarted my flight training and was inspired by my instructor to do more than just pass the tests, but to be the best pilot I could be. His inspiration pushed me to complete my Private Pilot, Instrument rating, Commercial, Multi-add on, and CFI certificates all within the following year. Now, I am excited to continue my aviation career through instruction and help the next generation of pilots be safe and competent aviators.

Outside of aviation, I enjoy time with family and close friends, the most important being my wife of over three years. We enjoy the outdoors, exploring new places and playing with our two Dachshund puppies.
