Hello, My name is Haydn. I was born and raised in Northern Michigan. Growing up, I was very passionate about all things outdoors, hunting and fishing. After graduating from Northern Michigan University I began my career as a fishing guide. I spent time in Alaska, Michigan, and the Florida Keys. 

You could say my path in aviation was unconventional compared to most. After fishing for 6 years, I decided to make a career change. In Florida, I lived across the street from an airport. Seeing planes everyday on my way to the water got me thinking about what it would be like to be a pilot. When the fishing season slowed down I decided to take a discovery flight and since then I have been hooked!

Aviation has become my deepest passion. As I have gotten further into my aviation career I have learned the importance of what a good instructor can do for you as a student. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with students to help achieve their aviation dreams!
