Instructor Bio
I first fell in love with aviation as a kid when I was living in Alaska. I got to ride on and work around a lot of float planes there and I loved every second of it. After that I knew that I wanted to be in the world of aviation some way or another. In the early stages of my journey being a pilot and flying was not in my budget, so I became an aviation mechanic for the military. Then I worked at Boeing building 737s for a while until I discovered that I could use my GI to pay for flight training. I ended up going to Clover Park Technical College for my flight training and an associate degree.
Although from the time when I first fell in love with aviation to now being an instructor at Rainer Flight Services has not been the fastest path to become a professional pilot, I would not trade my network of experiences for anything. I absolutely love flying and I’m very excited to continue progressing my career though the world of aviation as a pilot!
On my off time I love going hiking and on journeys with my wife. In the winter months I enjoy going snowmobiling and skiing. I love the state of Washington as there are endless activities to do for all seasons of the year.
