Having grown up in the Seattle area my entire life, I had the privilege to see all different kinds of airplanes up close, whether it was a tour of the Boeing 777 assembly line, watching the traffic on final for Sea-Tac, or seeing the Blue Angels during Seafair countless times. My earliest memory of my love for aviation is when I was in elementary school. Every time I saw or heard an airplane in the air, I would ask my grandfather what type of plane it was. I think my younger self assumed that since he had flown in the USAF, he would be able to look up at a tiny plane in the sky and know the exact make and model. I don’t think he ever said anything other than Boeing 737, but that didn’t stop me from asking.

It wasn’t until 2019, that I actually considered pursuing aviation as a hobby. One day, a coworker, who was very familiar with my love for all things airplanes, urged me to look into flight training. From the first lesson, I was captivated by the rewarding feeling I got every time I learned something new about flying an airplane. It was so satisfying to nail a landing or an approach. It didn’t take long for the idea of flying as a hobby to turn into a full-on career change. I’m excited for the opportunity to share this love for flying with you and work with you to achieve your flying goals.
