I guess I was always interested in flying but I was only able to learn to fly later in life. I am the only pilot in my family as far as I know. I grew up on the East Coast. I'm originally from upstate NY, later New Jersey, and then Florida.

I've had a lot of different jobs in my life. I served in the US Army for eight years. I spent most of my time in the Army stationed in Germany, working as a tank mechanic. I left the service with the rank of Staff Sergeant.

When I got out, I came here to Washington state and worked at Boeing as an airplane builder. I had many different jobs while I was at Boeing, everything from paint lab technician to CNC machinist to tooling process planner.

I learn to fly in Puyallup and worked my way through all my pilot ratings while working full-time. I've been a flight instructor at Puyallup, Tacoma, Narrows, Renton, Covington, and Auburn.

I am also Angel Flight volunteer and a member of the Civil Air Patrol. I believe it's a great gift we all have been given to be able to fly, and I try to pay that gift forward by sharing my time and energy in support of aviation charities.

I'm very excited to be a part of the Rainier Flight service team, and to be able to share the dream of flying with you!
