Instructor Bio

As a kid, I would always look up and wonder how planes could remain in the sky. My great grandpa was friends with Amelia Earhart while they taught aviation together at Purdue University. My grandpa was also a fighter pilot and airline captain who showed me the way of aviation and got me into my first intro flight. I immediately knew I was hooked into flying and felt the taste of aviation like the rest of my family.  

I trained through the American Airlines Cadet Academy in San Diego, CA and enjoyed the whole journey! Aviation can be challenging and is hard work, but the achievements in the end are very rewarding! I enjoy sharing my passion for aviation with others and helping people succeed in their aviation goals.  

When I am not in the aircraft, you can find me hiking, traveling, playing sports, or exploring new restaurants around the city.
