Randy Stein Bio
I have been fascinated with airplanes since I was old enough to remember anything. I have always been obsessed with the freedom that flight affords you. In college, I fell into a radio career that eventually paid the bills and I stayed in morning radio for 18 years. A little more than two years before leaving radio, my wife and I decided it was time for me to follow my true passion. We started putting together our action plan and got moving on it. I started flying at Rainier Flight Service, and 6 months later got my private pilot cert. I continued working a full time job, full time family, and full time training. It was hectic, to put it mildly. I achieved my Flight Instructor certificate and it was one of the very best days of my life. I am so excited to be able to share flight with my students and give them the same gifts that my instructors have given me. When I'm not flying, I like hanging out with my beautiful wife, Karen, our 3 boys and 2 dogs (Chocolate lab and Great Dane).
I would like to thank Randy for his words of encouragement and support in a low moments of my training to obtain the Private Pilot License. His emotional help and his belief in me was much needed to make it to the successful end! Thank you for believing in me Randy, you are are a great Instructor!
