My passion for flying began as early as I can remember. Growing up as a pilot’s son, my love for being in the air was born the day I saw my dad put on his uniform for the first time. 

As I progressed through high school, I received an offer to play DI baseball at Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. I spent one year at Xavier before I decided to focus on my education. I then transferred to Washington State University and received a degree in finance.

 During my senior year, I realized that sitting in an office all day was not for me. With my dad being a captain for Southwest I was able to pick his brain and decided to pursue a career in aviation. After I graduated from WSU, I moved down to Arizona to begin my training. 

I received all of my certifications and ratings (CFI, CFII, & MEI) in 10 months then moved back home to Washington to start my career as a CFI!
