Hey! I’m Will, born and raised in Georgia and moved out here to Washington in 2020. Like many in aviation, my interest started when I was a young kid. My father flew for a major airline and one of my fondest memories was flying with him from Boeing Field back to Atlanta in a brand new 737, delivering it for the airline. My family and the other pilot’s family were the only people on board, it was an incredible experience! Despite my exposure to airline flying at a young age, I didn’t seek to make it a career until very recently. I went to college in Philadelphia where I studied engineering and worked as an engineer until 2022. The more I worked, the more I realized engineering wasn’t the career for me. My father reminded me of the dream of flying I had as a kid and suggested I go for a discovery flight…the day after my discovery flight at Rainier Flight Service, I put in my 2 week notice and haven’t looked back since! I’m now a commercially rated pilot and certified flight instructor, looking to help others achieve their dreams of becoming pilots.
