During this stage, the learner will acquire instructional knowledge of the elements of each of the listed maneuvers and procedures including the recognition, analysis, and correction of common student errors. The learner will be able to prepare a lesson plan for each required PTS Task and will be able to conduct the flight according to the planned lesson, including effective pre- and post-flight instruction.

Each student is required to have, at the time they are enrolled in the training course, the following:

• Hold at least an FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine Class Rating.
• Hold at least an FAA Flight Instructor Certificate for Airplane Single Engine.
• A current Class III or higher medical certificate or BasicMed.

Ground school is conducted one-on-one with flight instructor through immersive pre and post-flight briefings as well as role-play delivering instructional material.

This Estimated Course Cost itemizes the approximate costs associated with obtaining a Flight Instructor - Multi Certificate.  However, costs vary greatly due to individual needs, past experience, and learning styles.  We provide many free training resources throughout our syllabus because our goal is to make training as affordable and efficient as possible.

Aircraft Rental
The course is written to be completed in 12 hours as a realistic average.

Flight Instruction
Most students require about 30 hours of instruction including flight training, preflight and postflight briefings, including a +-20% margin.
