Flight Operations Manual (FOM)

Rainier's Flight Operations Manual serves as a comprehensive guide outlining the policies, procedures, and standards that ensure safe, consistent, and efficient flight training operations. It supports standardization, safety, regulatory compliance, training consistency, and operational clarity including roles and responsibilities.

Aircraft Standardization Manuals

These manuals provide detailed guidance on the operation, procedures, and checklists for training aircraft.

Pilot Information Handbooks

The Pilot Information Handbook is the official document from manufacturer describing the systems, equipment, limitations, performance and operation for a particular aircraft type.  Pilots must become intimately familiar with this document for training aircraft.  Supplements include systems and description of optional equipment not installed in all aircraft.  Check aircraft details page to see what specific is installed in each aircraft.

Aircraft Checklists

Below are the current version of checklists for each training aircraft type. The Quick Reference Checklist (QRC) contains normal procedures and memory items for reference when time is critical. The Quick Reference Handbook (QRH) is expanded version of checklist procedures to aid in troubleshooting abnormal system conditions. Explanation for each procedure can be found in the Standardization Manual for respective aircraft.
